What purfled.com processes, and what it does not.
Last updated 24 October 2026.
Summary
The free tools need no account. Purfled does not keep a record of what you search for or of the results.
Who is responsible
purfled.com is run by an independent developer in the UK, who is the controller for the small amount of personal data described below. To contact them about your data, use the Contact page.
What is processed
- Your IP address is used to apply the daily free limit and a short-term rate limit. The count is held in Cloudflare's cache for about 24 hours and then expires.
- Your search is sent to the site being read (for example Google Maps or YouTube) to fetch the result, and then discarded. Purfled does not log queries.
- Browser storage. The theme setting, and an access key if you were given one and saved it, are kept in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your browser except that the key is sent with your own requests to purfled.com. You can remove the key with the Key control in the footer.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads. The YouTube thumbnail tool loads previews from YouTube's image servers.
Processors
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the tools.
- Apify runs searches for sites that block Cloudflare, and the full versions of the tools.
- RapidAPI handles accounts and billing for API customers.
- Ko-fi handles tips and messages.
Personal data in results
Some results contain personal data, such as a business's email address or phone number, or the public name on a comment. You are responsible for using it lawfully, including under UK GDPR and PECR (for example before sending marketing emails).
Cookies
Purfled sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.
Legal basis and your rights
The IP address count is processed on the basis of legitimate interests: keeping the free tools available to everyone and preventing abuse. It expires after about 24 hours, so there is usually nothing held about you by the time you ask. Under UK GDPR you can ask what is held, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, through the Contact page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
